Drew Barrymore Shuts Down Audience Cheers As Ross Mathews Rubs Her Legs: “He’s Gay!”

This morning’s audience on The Drew Barrymore Showgot the wrong plan when Ross Mathews began rubbing host Drew Barrymore‘s freshly shaved legs.

While Barrymore is typically seen sporting a chic pantsuit, she opted for something a little different today as she strutted out onto the stage wearing a skirt and black tights. “I’m trying tights. This is my season of tights,” she said as she threw her legs onto the Drew’s News desk. “It’s, like, I’m giving leg — but I’m not.”

Mathews, on the other hand, pointed out that the “best thing” about wearing tights is that she doesn’t own to shave her legs, noting that Barrymore “doesn’t like to do that.”

However, the actress explained that her makeup artist recently introduced her to a new device that easily “gets rid” of all of her leg hair.

Last year, my girlfriend and I were settling in to watch 50 First Dates, an immensely nostalgic film for us both due to our shared childhood crushes on Drew Barrymore, when I asked a question I’d certainly asked Google before: “Wait, is Drew Barrymore queer?”

A quick trip to Wikipedia affirmed what we knew and had somehow forgotten: Drew Barrymore is a noted bisexual. She’s arguably THE noted bisexual of the early ’00s. How dare we forget it!
