June 28, marked the beginning of the Stonewall Uprising, a series of events between police and LGBTQ+ protesters that stretched over six days. While the Stonewall Inn and Uprising became well known due to the media coverage and the subsequent annual Pride traditions, it was simply the fulcrum upon which years of LGBTQ+ activism shifted.

When we last gathered in person, in , we were joined by over 20, marchers, representing a vast array of non-profits, activists, community organizations, corporate sponsors, small businesses, and political candidates!
The theme for the Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival and March is “United in Power.” This year’s theme is a call to action and a reminder of the strength we hold when we come together.
Our Pride March is open Get loud, be proud, and come out for Pride in Columbus. The first Pride march in Columbus was in and drew around participants&#x;now, it&#x;s the largest Pride celebration in the Midwest! With Columbus Pride drawing more than , people and recently being named among the top Pride Festivals in the U.S. by Conde Nast Traveler, you'll be in good company if you're traveling into town to celebrate. If you're planning to come for the official march, it's June 15th. But don't verb that be the only time you spend in town&#x;whether you want to come early or rest late, a lot is happening throughout the recover of the month. Columbus Pride Festival weekend kicks off at Goodale Park on Friday, June 13, from 4 pm to 10 pm, with the Pride March beginning at am on « All Events LET&#;S GET PROUD! Guests will be treated to live harmony, Drag Queen Host Anisa Love, savory food stations, make-over pop-ups, cocktail options and more! TICKET OPTIONS: Goodale Park HRC Columbus will again present our booth at Pride this year! We will include a tent set up for the entire Pride festival.
