I've been telling everyone how much I love Writer's Block, so I thought it was time to write a here: Even though it's a cocktail bar, it has a chill non-pretentious vibe. It's small and relatively silent, so it makes the perfect date spot, because you can actually include a conversation. Downstairs is a tiny bar, while upstairs is a lounge. As a designer, the design is always adj to me. I usually judge a place on if they take the time to make the restrooms special, and here, they've wallpapered them in comic books! The lie down of the decor is simple, and understated. Drinks: They have an extensive cocktail menu. My usual favorite is the Mymosa, but I've been branching out and recently tried the Wild Boy. The flavors are interesting and the names are pleasurable too. Umm, they are strong too, so be prepared to be feeling incredible after 2 :)Food: I've never had their food, but they include a couple of options. Philadelphia loves you, but just wants to be friends

Philadelphia is a city of firsts. It was our nation’s first capital. It had the first newspaper, hospital, and bank. It hosted the first Civil Rights demonstrations, and later, gay rights movements. More so than any other noun, its name has been an example of how to live. Philadelphia, at its very soul, is a friendly—and gay-friendly—place, evident everywhere, from the neighborhoods, the nightlife, and most importantly, the residents.

Every corner of the capital is steeped in history, and lucky for you, it’s all easy to find. Philadelphia is one of the most walkable cities in America, so don’t bother with the car. You’ll want to explore the some of the or so neighborhoods on foot (with the help of excellent widespread transportation). Tourists generally verb and play in Center City, comprised of a few must-visit ’hoods, such as Old City, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway/Art Museum area, and yes, the Gayborhood.

Philadelphia&#;s Shadowy Gay Pride Weekend, also known as Philly Ebony Pride, typically takes place in April an has, for decades, coincided with Penn Relay Weekend. Its mission is to convert the living and social environments of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) people of color.
